The Rev. Georgina Offei Lartey, the 2 nd Minister at the Christ Presbyterian Church happens to be the first female minister ever to pastor this congregation within her 170 years of existence.

FAMILY LIFE

The Rev. Lartey was born on 22nd December 1945. She hails from Adukrom Akuapem and a mother of three (3) adults

EDUCATIONAL/MINISTERIAL TRAINING

She is an educationist and a theologian. She holds specialist certificate in Agricultural Science, a Diploma in Theology, a Certificate in Ministry and another Certificate in Administration from GIMPA, Legon.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Teaching

With regards to Education, Rev. Lartey has taught in various schools. Her last position held in the Ghana Education Service was at Akyem Oda, where served as the Area Manager of Presbyterian Schools.

Ministry

After she was commissioned in 1994, the Rev. Georgina Lartey was posted to Tamale and later to Akyem Oda. Until recently, she was the Deputy Director of the Presbyterian Women’s Centre at Abokobi. Mama, as we affectionately call her was posted to Akropong in 2004. She was ordained in 1996.

Mama is a good Preacher, teacher and a Pastor who has her flock at heart. She is a mother to all who comes her way.
